TTB stands for Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. TTB federal permit is required for non-retail applications such as winegrower, beer, wine, distilled spirits manufacturer/wholesaler license. It is imperative to apply federal basic permit with Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) along with Alcohol license with Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Without the TTB permit approval, ABC license application will not be approved. The whole TTB process generally takes 30 – 45 days for approval depending on the license type and can be initiated simultaneously with the ABC license application.
